Funerals

Funeral and Memorial Services

All too often, families discount the value of ceremony after the death of a loved one, and we certainly don’t want you to make that mistake. Coming together after a loss is a very essential part of the grieving process.

Create Healing Experiences

Create Healing Experiences

In the depth of early grief, you might think that it would be ‘easier’ to just take care of things as simply – and as quickly –as possible. But easier – especially in this circumstance – simply isn’t better.  In order to begin the healing process, you must start by giving your family and friends an opportunity to do so.

A funeral service consists of four key decisions: (1) how to treat the body, (2) what type of service to hold, (3) where to bury the body, and (4) the cost involved.

We are well-versed in providing a wide range of services that meet all budgets.  The Brashears family, along with our team of hand-selected professionals, continues to work diligently to meet our mission of providing the highest quality funeral services as you seek to honor the life of your loved one with compassion and integrity, just as we have since 1934.

Funeral Services

Funeral Services

Gathering with friends and family gives everyone the opportunity to share memories, express emotions, and find comforting support.  Families often choose to hold a traditional funeral service with burial, as the familiar rituals associated with these services bring comfort and ease to the grieving process

Whether you select a formal funeral or a more relaxed service, the need for acknowledgment of the loss with family and friends is ever present.  We can help you create a unique, meaningful ceremony to celebrate your loved one's life.

You can honor your loved one in a beautiful setting at our facility.  With front door parking and easy, single-level entry, our facility includes a chapel and family room that seats 225.  In 2018, we completed a full renovation of our facilities and chapel to allow our families to celebrate life in a peaceful, modern, and uplifting atmosphere.

It is up to families to decide how elaborate or simple their services will be. Private or public services are both acceptable.  Every budget is catered to.  We also offer our services at alternate locations, such as the church of your choice.

No matter where you decide to gather, or the formality of the funeral, the service you select will make a difference in the lives of all who attend.

Graveside Services

Graveside Services

If a graveside services has been selected, usually any ceremonies we design revolve around a service at the cemetery with the casket being present.

Let’s just say this: there is no ‘hard and fast’ formula for honoring your loved one when burial has been selected. We’re here to listen to your concerns, share our experience, and help you to arrive at the perfect way to gather together at your loved one's interment in the cemetery of your choice.

Cremation Services

Cremation Services

We hold Crematory License #1 in the State of Arkansas and are the only funeral home in the county with an on-site crematory.  Our families have peace of mind knowing that their loved ones are in our continuous care.  We never send loved ones to a third-party mortuary for cremation, and we handle the process with dignity and professionalism.

Cremation only refers to the manner in which you or your loved one has chosen to deal with the physical remains.  We want you to know that this decision doesn’t limit the ways you can honor your loved one's life.  Cremations today often include similar services to traditional burials, such as memorial visitations and chapel services.  We heartily suggest that you have a funeral or memorial service, because your need for such a healing experience is not lessened by the decision to be cremated.

Options for interment include use of a traditional gravesite, with a headstone, similar to a traditional burial. Other options include scattering cremated remains at special locations (with permission), keeping them in an urn or including a portion in cremation jewelry, or a combination of these options.

Again, the options are limited only by your imagination. We hope that you will contact us to discuss the wide variety of celebratory options open to you.

You Can Never Go Back and Do it Over

Some say it’s harsh to remind you of this, but we know we must. We want you to honor your loved one in a way that allows you to look back, years from now, and be thankful that you did the best you could to honor their life. Creating a ceremony that calls together the hearts and minds of all who loved them is a gift to everyone involved. A gift of memories, a gift of healing...a truly priceless gift of peace-of-mind.
