Travis Lee Smith, 42, of Branson; passed away Friday, January 17, 2025, at his home in Branson. He was born Sunday, May 30, 1982, at Huntsville; to Larry and Linda Friedman Smith. Travis was a father to three children, Hunter, Toby, and Faith. He faithfully attended Standing By The Door Church in Branson, He also attended Citizens Church of Nazarene in Branson. An electrician by trade, Travis had a daring spirit and a deep love for the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting for arrowheads and unique rocks, four-wheeling, playing in the snow, camping, hunting, fishing, and working on vehicles. Known for his meticulous nature, he took great pride in his work and found great joy in helping others. With a playful sense of humor, Travis loved to joke and pull pranks, bringing laughter to those around him. Above all, he had a profound love for God, his family, and friends. Travis was preceded in death by his father, Larry Smith; one son, Hunter Lee Smith; his grandparents, Donald Smith, Lawrence and Lorraine Friedman; one step-grandfather, Louie Guess; one Aunt, Teresa Friedman; one uncle, Randy Watkins; one special great-uncle, Richard Friedman, and a cousin, Jason Haney. He is survived by his mother, Linda Smith and Mike Porter of Marble; one son, Toby Smith of Springdale; and one daughter, Faith Smith of Springdale. He is also survived by a grandmother, Lois Guess of Lincoln; two aunts, Jenny (Mike) Haney and Cindy Watkins both of Huntsville; two uncles, Jerry (Patty) Friedman of Springdale and Jim (Tammy) Smith of Seattle, Washington; cousins, Brandy (Richard) Curtis and Jeremey (Meredith) Watkins both of Huntsville; one step-grandmother, Evelyn Smith of Ruth, Mississippi; one special great-aunt, Alice Friedman; and many extended family members. The family will receive friends 1:00 PM-2:00 PM, Friday, January 24, 2025, at Brashears Funeral Home. Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 PM with Coy Siegrist and Tom Wright officiating. Pallbearers will be Dustin Cline, Jeremey Watkins, Mike Haney, John Scholz, Ronnie Merrick, and Jake Carlton. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Friedman, Jim Smith, Jerry Hargis, Steve Carlton, Bill Friedman, Mathew Coari, Doug Harper, and Bruce Weiher. Interment will immediately follow services at Lower Campground Cemetery, Huntsville, AR. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Travis's name may be made to Standing By The Door, 704 S Veterans Blvd, Suite A, Branson, MO, 65616 or Marble United Baptist Church, 365 Madison 1546, Huntsville, AR, 72740. Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
