Sue Moore

Barbara Sue Moore, 80, of Springdale; walked into her Lord and Savior's arms Friday, April 26, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was born Sunday, October 3, 1943, at Urbanette, Arkansas; the last of eight children born to Walter Earl and Waltza Fay Harviston Fanning. Sue married Stanley Hugh Moore, and was mother to three children. She dedicated many years to working at Tyson before moving to Logan, New Mexico, where she cared for others in a nursing facility. Sue had a deep affection for her dogs, enjoyed Dr. Pepper, country music, and watching westerns and RFD TV on Friday and Saturday nights, especially when shows like the Presleys' Country Jubilee and Larry's Country Diner were on. Her home always featured westerns playing, day or night, and she could recount the real-life deaths of both actors from those westerns, and country music stars. Sue's greatest joy was her family, she loved talking about them and was just so proud. Sue was a hard worker, sassy, witty, hardheaded and a bit of a jokester and was always looking to get one up on you before you got to her. Sue was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Stanley Moore; one infant son, Stanley Hugh Moore, Jr.; one son-in-law, Terry Marshall; one granddaughter, Stacey Marshall; five sisters, Jean McCarty, Daisy Laningham, Doris Downum, Tommie Ball. and Ann Barrett; and one brother, Dean Fanning. She is survived by two daughters, Tammy Marshall, of Forum; and Terry Owens (Howard), of Springdale; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Marshall (Dale), of Kingston; Jeremy Marshall (Melody), and Colton Marshall, both of Forum; Kim Marshall, of Alabam; Jessica (Jason) Stroud, Butch Owens, and Chestina Owens, all of Springdale; and seven great-grandchildren, MaKayla Watkins, Slayter Watkins, Gracey (John Calvin) Watkins, Baylor Maddox, Bentley Marshall, Raylan Marshall and Hunter Stroud. She is also survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Pete and Pauline Fanning, of Clifty, along with many nieces and nephews that held such a special place in her heart. The family will receive friends 9:00 AM-10:00 AM, Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at Brashears Funeral Home. Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 AM, with Coy Siegrist officiating. Pallbearers will be Dennis Corter, Leslie Corter, Jeff Corter, Mike Fanning, Jerry Ball, Dale Ball, Jerry Don Ball, Kelly Ball. Honorary pallbearers will be Margaret Walker, Don Goodall, Sheri Cargile, and Rose Porter. Interment will immediately follow services at Marshall Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
