Reva Lucille Yarbrough, 89, of Huntsville; passed away peacefully into the arms of her Lord on Friday, February 14, 2025, at her home. She was born Monday, March 11,1935, in Marble; to Willie Nelson and Mable Taylor Burris. Lucille was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother. Some of Lucille’s many talents were her amazing quilts and crocheted blankets that she made for all of her family and friends, love in every stitch, no doubt. She loved to cook. Lucille could turn the simplest ingredients into a feast fit for a king. She was always baking. Making cakes and cookies for everyone on special occasions, especially birthdays, that's how she showed her love. Lucille was a hard worker. She spent 18 years working the production line at Swift Eckrich before it became Butterball. She was a long time member of Astounding Grace and Purdy Pentecostal church, she was a true believer in Christ, and never missed a chance to tell you about her love for the lord. Lucille is preceded in death by her loving husband, James Ray; her parents; one brother, Bill Burris; one son, David Upshaw; one daughter, Carol Lynn Janes; and one great-grandson, Kevin Patrick. She is survived by one son, Don Upshaw, of Huntsville; two daughters, Kathy Richart (Gary Littrell), of Forum and Bonnie McCormick, of Scranton, AR; eight grandchildren, David Ray Upshaw(Cassie), of Aurora; Reva McGourty (Steven), of Forum; Lonnie Upshaw (Anna), of Marion, Indiana; Dustin Brown (Kristina), of Huntsville; Justin Brown (Shanna), of Witter; Andrew Brown, of Scranton, AR; Cory Brown, of Charleston, AR; and Elizabeth Brown of Weddington, AR. Lucille is also survived by two brothers and one sister-in-law, Hubert and Freda Burris, of Marble; Jim Burris, of Kingston; three nephews, Tim Burris (Linda), of Marble; William Burris (Marlena), of Cullman, AL; Henry Burris, of Elkins; two nieces, Katterina Barnhart, of Kingston; Tonya Burris, of Idabel, OK; thirty great-grandchildren, and four great great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends 5:00 PM-7:00 PM, Thursday, February 20, 2025, at Brashears Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be 10:00 AM, Friday, February 21, 2025, at Brashears Funeral Home with Dewayne Houston officiating. Pallbearers will be David Ray Upshaw, Eli Upshaw, Izak McGourty, Jordan McGourty, Tim Burris, and Cory Brown. Interment will immediately follow services at Lower Campground Cemetery, Marble. Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
