Norma Raye Dimmit, 80, of Rogers; passed away Sunday, April 21, 2024, at Mercy Hospital NWA, Rogers. She was born Monday, December 13, 1943, at Forum; to Joseph Arthur and Retha Mae Frederick White. Larry Wendell Dimmit, 83, of Rogers; passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at Circle of Life Hospice, Bentonville. He was born Tuesday, December 17, 1940, at Aurora; to Lloyd Harold and Clara Peters Dimmit. Larry and Norma were united in marriage on Friday, June 15, 1962, at Forum; and together they were parents to three children. Larry dedicated two decades of his career as a Vice President at Walmart, bringing his expertise and dedication to the company. Larry was well known for his generous spirit and had a fondness for fishing, hunting, and the moments spent in the tranquility of nature. Meanwhile, Norma's heart was with her family, where she found fulfillment as a devoted homemaker. Her culinary skills shone brightly, adding warmth to their home, while her crochet creations and acts of kindness spread joy beyond their family circle. Their shared joys included bowling, tennis, games, and beach trips, cherishing each moment together; and their spiritual journey was enriched by their attendance at both the Bentonville Church of Christ and the New Hope Assembly of God in Rogers. Norma was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Retha White; and one brother, Loren White. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Clara Dimmit. They are survived by their son and daughter-in-law, Joel and Ashley Dimmit, of Bentonville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Luanne and Doug Bachman, of Bella Vista; and Shelly Sanders and Mike Kerr, of Bentonville; 11 grandchildren, Kristen Kossover, Brittany Bachman, Ryan Bachman, Cortney Fish, Laikyn Sanders, Blaklee Johnson, Madison Callahan, Harrison Kerr, Alex Kerr, Brinleigh Dimmit, and Hudson Dimmit; and seven great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM-4:00 PM, Saturday, April 27, 2024, at New Hope Assembly of God, Rogers. Private interment will be at Aurora Cemetery, Huntsville, at a later date.
