Colton Freeman

Colton Edward Freeman, 21, of Huntsville; died Sunday, February 21, 2021, in Jackson, Tennessee. He was born Thursday, August 12, 1999, in Natchez, Mississippi; to Tony and Sherri Clayton Freeman.Colton was engaged to Holly Wright, whom he considered his wife; and together they were parents to two children. He was a electrician by trade and 2018 graduate of Kingston School where he played basketball and participated in track. He was FBLA school president for two years and Vice-president of the District for one year. Colton loved his family first and foremost. He loved hunting, fishing, and working the cows. After graduation, he decided to become an electrician, at which he was excelling and would have been able to test for a journeyman in August. He was a very dedicated hard worker. He was also a devout Christian. Colton was a loving son, father, brother, uncle, and friend. Colton was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Leon Clayton and great-grandparents Lois and Bron Rainey. And paternal great-grandparents Thelma and Sam Freeman. He is survived by his parents, Sherri and Tony Freeman; and niece Londyn who he called his "baby girl,"of Huntsville, two sons, Raiden Freeman, and Axl Freeman both of Huntsville: his fiancée' Holly Wright of Huntsville, and her parents Hilary and Larry Simmons of Dresden, Tennessee; his sister and brother-in-law, Amber and Chris Nichols of Natchez and two nieces De'Nya and Serenity and one nephew CJ, of Mississippi; his brother and girlfriend, AJ Freeman and Zoaie Freeman of Huntsville, and nieces Astrid and Kynlee and nephew Bladen; his grandparents, Virginia Clayton and Jewell and Debbie Freeman of Natchez, Mississippi; and Margie Ayscue of Sicily Island, Louisiana. Colton was also loved by many other aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM, Friday, February 26, 2021, at Brashears Funeral Home. Due to COVID-19, please practice social distancing and masks are required. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 27, 2021, at Brashears Funeral Home with Ryan Stokes and Brent Johnson officiating. Pallbearers will be Cooper Riley, Dalton Summers, Austin Lott, Phillip Emitt, Troy Huber, Jarrod Comer, Kylin Donahoe, and Jacob Murrell. Honorary pallbearers will be Zack and Jesse Root, Austin Tollett, Greg Stephenson, and Kaleb Taff. Interment will immediately follow services at Lower Campground Cemetery, Marble, AR. Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
