William Leslie Sloan, age 85, of Belle Plaine, KS; retired Beech Aircraft employee, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2018. Bill is preceded in death by his parents, James and Virginia Sloan; brothers, Roy, Louis, Lester and Don; and his sister, Wilma Linningham. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Bea; son, Michael, of Wichita; brothers, Lawrence, John (Linda), Walter, Leonard (Debbie); and his sister, Ruby Lindabury. A memorial has been established with West Side Freewill Baptist Church, 3310 W MacArthur Rd, Wichita, KS 67217. Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 PM, Friday, January 19 in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 20, at Farmer Cemetery in Hindsville.
