Theodore Amos Watkins, 86, of Springdale; died Monday, August 17, 2020, at home. He was born Wednesday, May 19, 1934, at Thayer, Missouri; to Alfred and Lillian Gertrude Shelton Watkins.Theodore was the father of five children. He owned and operated Razorback Janitorial Service and was a member of New Vision Church of God. Theodore dearly loved his family and he loved horses. He was an avid pilot and enjoyed flying. He also served as a minister, and was known to have never met a stranger. Theodore was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth; his parents, his brothers, Bob Watkins, Chet Watkins, DeWayne Watkins, Donald Watkins, Shelby Watkins, and Elwin Watkins; and his sister, Boots Stavras. He is survived by his two sons and daughters-in-law, Wesley and Marsha Watkins of Springdale; and Bradley and Kimberly Watkins of Huntsville; three daughters and son-in-law, Sherry Watkins of Springdale; Carolyn George of Havana; and Barbara and Donald Mansell of Springdale; brother, Harley Watkins; sisters, Betty Pitcock and Bonnie Myers; 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren.The family will receive friends 1:00 PM, Friday, August 21, 2020, at Brashears Funeral Home. Please practice social distancing and masks are required for entry. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 PM with Tim Andrews officiating. Pallbearers will be Michael Myers, Jason Myers, Jamie Patscheck, Jody Watkins, Briar Watkins, Wyatt Watkins, Joey Myers, and Elias Barnes-Zepeda. Interment will immediately follow services at Oakland Cemetery, Fayetteville. Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
