Laura Sue Dryer, 74, of Elkins, Arkansas, died December 6, 2013 at New Hope Health and Rehabilitation in Rogers, Arkansas. She was born June 1, 1939 at Tulsa, Oklahoma, the daughter of Willie Jess and Anna Mae Guynn Evans. She was a retired Registered Nurse, a Christian and a former member of The Order of the Eastern Star and the Colbaugh Extension Homemakers Club. Survivors include: one son, David Nicholson of Huntsville, Arkansas; one daughter, Denise Gibson of Huntsville, Arkansas; one sister, Sharon Keenen of McAllen, Texas; one grandson, Anthony Gibson of Elkins, Arkansas; three granddaughters, Rueann Gibson of Branson, Missouri, Jillian Gibson and Savanah Gibson, both of Huntsville, Arkansas; one great-grandson, Jacob Wells of West Fork, Arkansas and a special friend, Pat Wiggins of Hindsville, Arkansas. A memorial service will be held at a later date with interment in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net of Huntsville, Arkansas.
