Alice Jean Farmer, 96, of Hindsville, Arkansas died January 20, 2011 at her home. She was born July 1, 1914 at Rockdale, Texas the daughter of Joseph Nicholas and Martha Elizabeth Buff Marrow. She was a homemaker and had attended Saint Luke's Episcopal Church at Hot Springs, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Calvin Farmer, who was a World War Two veteran serving in the United States Navy and a survivor of the USS Indianapolis; and one stepson, Calvin Farmer. Survivors include: three stepsons, Dean Farmer and Richard Farmer both of Hot Springs, Arkansas and Michel Farmer of Derry, New Hampshire; two stepdaughters, Katherine McCarthy of Keller, Texas and Christine Williams of Hindsville, Arkansas and several stepgrandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 P. M. Friday, January 28 at Crestivew Memorial Park, 3077 East Grand Service Road, Hot Springs, Arkansas.
