Ronald Casper Pfeiffer, 80, of Marble, Arkansas, died December 8, 2017 at his home. He was born February 18, 1937 in Paris Township, Wisconsin, the son of Casper John and Drusella Magdelena Wagner Pfeiffer. He had retired from American Motors after thirty years of service and was a UnitedStates Navy veteran. He served as chief of the Marble Volunteer Fire Department for thirty years and was a member of the Marble United Baptist Church. He was also a member of Hayes-Smith Post #137, American Legion at Huntsville, Madison County Fire Chiefs Association, Arkansas Fire Chiefs Association, the United Auto Workers and several communications and C. B. radio clubs. He was preceded in death by one son, Randy Pfeiffer, one son-in-law, Francis Goergen. one brother-in-law, Micheal Fonk and one grandson, Alan Goergen.Survivors include: his wife, Alice Schmidt Pfeiffer of the home; four sons and one daughter-in-law, Ronald Pfeiffer, Jr. of Burlington, Wisconsin, Jonathan Pfeiffer of Plantation, Florida, Justin Pfeiffer of Elkins, Arkansas and Patrick and Shaina Pfeiffer of Huntsville, Arkansas; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Rhonda and Kevin Murdoch of New Paris, Indiana, Roxane Goergen of Gridley, California, Connie Pfeiffer and Manoj Pinnamaneni of Seattle, Washington and Michelle Fletcher of Kansas; one brother and sister-in-law, LeRoy and Linda Pfeiffer of Las Vegas, Nevada; one sister, Sharon Fonk of Stedman, North Carolina; grandchildren, Gena and Ryan Farnsworth, Stephani and Roger Roxbury, Ronald Pfeiffer, Amanda Murdoch and Joel Radakovich, Nicole Murdoch, Ryan Goergen, Trinity Fletcher and Jack Pfeiffer; three great-grandchildren, Carlin Farnsworth, Liam Farnsworth and Amelia Farnsworth and several nephews and nieces.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P. M. Saturday, December 16, at the Marble Fire Department with Brother Coy Siegrist officiating. Interment will be in the Big Sandy Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net of Huntsville, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be: Dean Routh, Ray Bennett, Jason Yates, Terry Ware, Ronald Pfeiffer, Jr. and Kevin Murdoch. Honorary pallbearers will be the Marble Volunteer Firefighters. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P. M. to 8:00 P. M on Friday at the funeral home.
