Loraine Lucille "Granny Rain" Logue, 85, of Hindsville, Arkansas died April 20, 2009 at Washington Regional Medical Center at Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born October 11, 1923 at Altus, Arkansas the daughter of Roscoe Floyd and Beulah Lee McCarver Neal. She was a tupperware dealer for many years, owned Jay's Fabric in Huntsville and worked at Hobby Lobby for nine years. She was a faithful member of the Drakes Creek Baptist Church where the church celebrated her eighty-fifth birthday by giving her her first hayride. She was the widow of Jay Edison Logue to whom she was married on January 1, 1945 and preceded her in death on November 13, 1994. Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Loy and Bettina Logue of Huntsville, Arkansas; one daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Howard Boyd of Hindsville, Arkansas; four grandsons and one granddaugher-in-law, Stephen and Susan Boyd of Afton, Oklahoma, Stanley Boyd of Hindsville, Arkansas, Dustin Logue of Springdale, Arkansas and Danny Bohannan of Marble, Arkansas; six granddaughters and two grandsons-in-law, Sandra and Floyd Alderson of Elkins, Arkansas, Crystie and Danny Massey of Hartford, Arkansas, Tressa Logue of Marble, Arkansas, Miranda Warford of Wesley, Arkansas, Maggie Holt of Huntsville, Arkansas and Daisy Bohannan of Fayetteville, Arkansas; five great-grandsons, Jordan Boyd of Afton, Oklahoma, Jay Alderson and Carl Alderson both of Elkins, Arkansas, Rustyn Massey of Hartford, Arkansas and Colton Holt of Huntsville, Arkansas; five great-granddaughters, Holly Boyd of Arizona, Amber Alderson of Elkins, Arkansas, Cheyenne Massey of Hartford, Arkansas, Allie Warford of Wesley, Arkansas and Codi Bohannan of Marble, Arkansas; two brothers-in-law and wives,Kenneth and Carlene Logue of Springdale, Arkansas and Dewey and Betty Logue of Ojai, California; one sister-in-law and husband, Ruth and Derrel Beard of Elm Springs, Arkansas; several nephews, nieces, cousins, a host of friends and her wonderful church family. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A. M. Friday, April 24th in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with Elders John Napier and Jim Duncan officiating. Interment will be in the Cherry Creek Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net at Huntsville. Pallbearers will be: Stephen Boyd, Stanley Boyd, Floyd Alderson, Jordan Boyd, Dustin Logue and Danny Bohannan. Honorary pallbearers will be: Holly Boyd, Amber Alderson, Jay Alderson, Carl Alderson, Cheyenne Massey, Rustyn Massey, Codi Bohannan, Colton Holt and Allie Warford. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 P. M. on Thursday at the funeral home with the family present.
