Linda Sue Sparks, 73, of Huntsville; passed away Friday, May 29, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones, at Willard Walker Hospice Home, Fayetteville. She was born Monday, January 12, 1953, at Wharton Creek; to Albert "Frank" Franklin and Dalphia Bowman Cornett. Linda married Larry Alvin Sparks on July 30, 1971, in Huntsville. They shared a loving marriage for 49 years until Larry's passing and were blessed with one daughter, Lori, whom they cherished deeply. Linda spent many years as a beef and poultry farmer and was a faithful member of Lower Wharton Creek Church and the Madison County Cattlemen's Association. A hardworking and devoted woman, she loved Jesus and lived her life guided by a strong and steadfast faith. She found joy in gardening, attending yard sales and auctions, and searching for a good bargain. Linda especially loved being at home on the farm, where she devoted herself to the work she enjoyed and the life she built with her family. Known for her strength, kindness, and selfless spirit, Linda was always willing to care for and support loved ones during times of need. She generously gave of herself to others and never hesitated to lend a helping hand. Above all, she treasured her family and always placed them at the center of her life. Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Sparks; parents, Frank and Dalphia Cornett; four brothers, Clayton Cornett, Carmon Cornett, Clint Cornett, and Carl Cornett; and one sister, Freeda Frisby. She is survived by her daughter, Lori Sparks, of Huntsville; one granddaughter, Lindsay Lester, of Huntsville; and a special nephew, Luke Umland, of Huntsville. She is also survived by her siblings, Kenneth (Rita) Cornett, of Huntsville, Keith (Diane) Cornett, of Harrison, Thelma Hill, of Springdale, Stella (Gary) Pinkley, of Rogers, Gary (Debbie) Cornett, of Huntsville, Robin Umland, of Huntsville, and Jim (Sandra) Cornett, of Huntsville; sister-in-law, Ruth Cornett, of Huntsville; and one aunt, Maxine Dennis, of Huntsville. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM, Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at Brashears Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at Brashears Funeral Home with Coy Siegrist and Jim Hepler officiating. Pallbearers will be Randy Cornett, Kenny Cornett, Derek Cornett, Shane Hill, Tim Cornett, Kevin Cornett, Kent Cornett, Michael Umland, and Leon Frisby. Honorary pallbearers will be her great nephews. Interment will immediately follow services at Venus Cemetery, Witter, Arkansas. Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
