Landon Thomas Born, 14, of Huntsville, surrounded by love and held by faith, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on Friday, December 12, 2025, at Arkansas Children’s Hospital Northwest. He was born Friday, March 18, 2011, at Johnson; to Thomas Dale Born and Jessica Caroline Foster Born. Landon was a student and a member of Lower Campground United Baptist Church, where he and his family found comfort and strength in their faith. Throughout his life, he faced each day with quiet courage, unwavering faith, and a gentle spirit that touched the hearts of all who knew him. Landon had a kind and loving heart, and his infectious smile could brighten any room. He had a way of bringing joy to others, and his caring nature served as a reminder of the goodness in the world. If everyone loved as Landon did, the world would truly be a better place. Landon enjoyed the simple pleasures of life and loved being outdoors. He especially enjoyed time at the lake, hunting, fishing, and playing baseball. He was a hardworking young man who took pride in learning new skills and responsibilities at a young age, including operating a mini-ex. Landon also had a deep love for his animals. Above all, he cherished the little children in his life, showing them patience, kindness, and a gentle heart that reflected the love he had for others. Landon was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Willie and Dorothea Foster, William Born, and Raymond Miller. He is survived by his parents, Thomas and Jessica Born; one sister, Riley Born, of the home; grandfather, Robert (Kathy) Born, of Florida; grandmother, CoraLee Born, of Goodman, Missouri; grandmother, Brenda (Carl) Holt, of Marble. He is also survived by eight uncles, Jonathan Born, of Rogers, Daniel (Latasha) Born, of Marble, Matthew (Amanda) Born, of Marble, Jeremiah (Miranda) Born, of Longview, Texas, David Born, of Fort Collins, Colorado, Joshua Born, of Goodman, Missouri, Hosea Born, of Hope, and Jason (Hui) Foster, of Marble; seven aunts, Rachel Leah (Trevor) Morrison, of Pineville, Missouri, Rebekah Born, of Overbrook, Kansas, Rachel (Kyle) Wilson, of Greenbrier, January (Jody) Carpenter, of Harrison, Amanda (Matt) Hartness, of Kingston, Amber Jackson, of Huntsville, and Allison (Trevor) Hampton, of Rogers; and beloved cousins, Axel, Jax, and Zoe Born; Hannah and Braxton Born; Jayden and Austin Born; Anabella, Samson, and Orion Morrison; Otto and Saylor Born; Parker and Luke Wilson; Chevelle, Austin, Paisen, and Sutton Cott; Payton, Brooke, and Lila Hartness; Bailey, Phillip, and Phoebe Emitt; and Faith and Billy Sawyer. He is also lovingly remembered by many extended family members and dear friends who were like family to him. The family will receive friends 5:00 PM-7:00 PM, Thursday, December 18, 2025, at Brashears Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM, Friday, December 19, 2025, at Huntsville First Assembly of God with Bo Bailey, Coy Siegrist, and Alex Craig officiating. Pallbearers will be Jayden Born, Austin Born, Braxton Born, Jake Thompson, Austin Cott, and Payton Hartness.
