Claud Morris Edwards, 83, of Huntsville, Arkansas, died April 4, 2009 at his home. He was born June 14, 1925 at Red Star, Arkansas, the son of William Demps and Lissie Belle Hodge Edwards. He was a retired safety consultant for the Arkansas Department of Labor and a veteran of World War Two, serving in the United States Army. He was a member of the Kingston Church of Christ, Mulberry Lodge #272, Free and Accepted Masons at Oark, Arkansas and a fifty year member of Kingston Lodge #116, Independent Order of Odd Fellows. He was preceded in death by five brothers, Scott Edwards, Buster Edwards, Harlie Edwards, Arvil Edwards and Willard Edwards and by three sisters, Sylvia Edwards, Lela Wyatt and Lula Johnson. Survivors include: his wife sixty-four years, Loucille Bolinger Edwards of the home whom he married on November 8, 1944; two sons and daughters-in-law, Bart and Darla Edwards of Berryville, Arkansas and Max and Caroline Edwards of Huntsville, Arkansas; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Nina Johnson and Lois and Michael Cox, all of Springdale, Arkansas, Elaine and Steve Cattaneo of Winslow, Arkansas and Annette and Earl Rowe of Gentry, Arkansas; two sisters, Bonnie Parker of Huntsville, Arkansas and Onitta Barker of Longview, Washington; twenty-two grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P. M. Wednesday, April 8, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with Dotson Collins, Eulogist and Von Sikes, Minister officiating. Interment will be in the Reeves Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net of Huntsville, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be: Lamont Edwards, Trent Edwards, Justin Edwards, Cameron Edwards, Zack Rowe, Brandon Cattaneo and Christopher Cox. Honorary pallbearers will be: Tatum Keith, Cody Sharp, Jeremy Mitchell, Neal Crawford, David VanSandt, Brian Denham, Kendall Sharp and Colby Sharp. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.
