Betty Worley

Betty Lou Worley, 74, of Huntsville; passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at Washington Regional Medical Center, Fayetteville. She was born Tuesday, March 4, 1952, at Hindsville; to Hubert James and Eunice Jane Derie Cline. On November 3, 2004, she married Jimmy Ray Worley in Harrison, Arkansas. They shared 21 years of marriage. Betty was known for her quiet strength and determined spirit. Her favorite color was red, a reflection of the warmth and vibrance she carried through life. She loved to cook and found great joy in sharing family recipes with those she loved. One of her greatest pleasures was baking peach pies and giving them to friends and family, a simple gesture that made people feel cared for and welcomed. She also had a special fondness for cardinals, whose bright presence always brought happiness. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Eunice Cline; husband, Joe Dale Baker; three brothers, Junior Cline, Jerry Cline, and Wayne Cline; one sister, Marlene Cartmell; and two nephews, Dale Cartmell and Rick Cartmell. She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Ray Worley, of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Bettina and Randy Coger, of Huntsville; two sons and daughter-in-law, Scott and Kam Worley, of Berryville; and Colonel Retired Jimmy and Jennifer Worley, of Dallas. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Tayler Worley, Cody Coger, Hudson Coger, Emily Jane Coger, Jesse Miller, Harper Coger, and Hazelee Coger; one brother and sister-in-law, Cliff and Dawn Cline, of Huntsville; a special friend, Nona Jackson; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM-10:00 AM, Monday, May 18, 2026, at Brashears Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Monday, May 18, 2026, at Brashears Funeral Home with Bo Bailey officiating. Pallbearers will be Bobby Wilson, Jeffery Cline, David Cline, Clay Wilson, Cody Coger, and Tayler Worley. Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Coger, Scott Worley, Colonel Retired Jimmy Worley, and Hudson Coger. Interment will immediately follow services at Alabam Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
