Alma A Phillips, 77, of Huntsville; passed away Thursday, November 9, 2023, at Circle of Life Hospice, Springdale. She was born Thursday, March 7, 1946, at Sullivan, Illinois; to Ammon A and Mattie N Yoder Miller. Alma married Ronald "Ronnie" Lane on January 6th, 1967, and together they were parents to three children. Referred to affectionately as "Ms. Alma" by the children in her daycare, she dedicated numerous years to founding and managing Busy Bee Daycare. Alma subsequently acquired her real estate license and successfully ran United Country Phillips Realty as a real estate agent, broker, and owner for an extended period. For the last three years, Alma, owned and operated Phillips Lane Realty. During her tenure, she played a key role in facilitating the sale of farms and homes throughout Northwest Arkansas. After the passing of her first husband, Alma found love again with Darrell Phillips, and they exchanged vows in Eureka Springs on June 18, 1988. She attended services at Sonora Baptist Church and enjoyed playing the piano, painting, and playing on softball teams and in the Huntsville bowling league for numerous years. Alma radiated kindness and compassion, deriving joy from visiting others and extending a helping hand within her community. Above all, Alma was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Alma was preceded in death by her parents, Ammon and Mattie Miller, her first husband, Ronnie Lane, and two brothers, Enos Miller and Clarence Miller. She is survived by her husband, Darrell Phillips, of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Randall and Cinnamon Lane, of Springdale; two daughters and sons-in-law, Rhonda and Michael Mason, of Huntsville; and Tara and Rodney Middleton, of Huntsville; twelve grandchildren, Karanda Lane, Kaylee Lane, Aaron Dickson, Cameron Mason, Caden Mason, Devin Middleton, Sharee Middleton; Tanner McGhee, Ian Dyer, Kristin West, Will Joe, and Emily Phillips; and six great-grandchildren. Alma is also survived by Darrell's children, Darren Phillips, of Huntsville; Latricia and Alan McGhee, of Harrison; and Laurel Joe, of Quartzsite, Arizona; two brothers, Marvin Miller and Ruben Miller, three sisters, Annie Caldwell, Eliza Stilley, and Ella Steinfeld, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive friends 9:00 AM-10:00 AM, Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at Brashears Funeral Home. Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 AM, with Dwayne Lane officiating. Pallbearers will be Caden Mason, Cameron Mason, Devin Middleton, Will Joe, Ian Dyer, and Tanner McGhee. Interment will immediately follow services at Colbaugh Cemetery, Hindsville. Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
