Winnie Porter, 87, of Huntsville, Arkansas, died March 4, 2012 at Meadowview Healthcare and Rehab in Huntsville, Arkansas. She was born May 26, 1924 at White Oak, Arkansas, the daughter of Jeff and Effie Lee Harvison. She was a retired surgerical technician, a member of the Marble United Baptist Church and the widow of Ralph Maynard Porter who preceded her in death on July 1, 1987. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Doris Jean Porter on January 18, 2002. Survivors include: three sons and one daughter-in-law, Carel and Earleen Porter of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Jerry Porter of Springdale, Arkansas and Michael Porter of Huntsville, Arkansas; two daughters, Wanda Warren of Muskogee, Oklahoma and Barbara Crumley of Hindsville, Arkansas; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P. M. Tuesday, March 6, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with The Reverend Dearl Wilson officiating. Interment will be in the Alabam Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net of Huntsville, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be: Brett Crumley, Jimmy Warren, John Porter, Brian Porter, Jeffrey Porter and Scott Moore. The family will receive friends from 5:30 P. M. to 7:00 P. M. on Monday at the funeral home.
