William Clay Harrison, 88, of Durham, Arkansas, died October 19, 2014 at his home. He was born May 16, 1926 at Goshen, Arkansas, the son of Tom and Lela Eubanks Harrison. He had retired from Allen Canning Company and was a poultry farmer. He was a member of the Church of Christ and was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, James Earl Harrison. Survivors include: his wife, Irene Russell Harrison of the home; one son, Stephen Harrison of the home; one stepdaughter, Junia West of Durham, Arkansas; four sisters, Myrtle Austin of Hemet, California, Marie Henderson of Wichita, Kansas, Eva Jo Shrum and Betty Allison, both of Carthage, Missouri; four grandsons, Jared West of Winfrey Valley, Arkansas and Jonathan West of Durham, Arkansas, Rickey Laughlin of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Johnny Austin of Rose Hill, Kansas and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P. M. Thursday, October 23, at the Wesley Church of Christ with Larry Combs, Minister officiating. Interment will be in the Wesley Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net of Huntsville, Arkansas.
