Velda Jean Faulkner, 76, of Elkins. Arkansas died February 2, 2013 at the Willard Walker Hospice Home at Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born June 18, 1936 at Thorney, Arkansas the daughter of George Ray and Dillie Lucille Gardner King. She retired from Balwin Piano with forty years of service. Survivors include: her husband, Bill Faulkner of the home; one son, Danny Gurley of Elkins, Arkansas; one daughter, Theresa Baker of Fayetteville, Arkansas; three brothers, Arnold King of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Arvil King of Farmington, Arkansas and Jerry King of Elkins, Arkansas; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A. M. Wednesday, February 6 in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with Brother Eddie Samuels officiating. Interment will be in the Mount Olive Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net at Huntsville. Pallbearers will be: Steve King, Chris King, David King, Darren King, Kenny King, Kevin King and Jared King. Honorary pallbearers will be: Bill Reagan and Doug Williams. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 P. M. on Tuesday at the funeral home with the family present.
