Rosie Lee Edens

Rosie Lee Edens, 82, of Huntsville, Arkansas, died April 6, 2012 at North Hills Life and Rehab in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born July 24, 1929 at Georgetown, Arkansas, the daughter of Rosco and Nanny Viola Wood Faulkner. She was a homemaker and a member of the Aurora Church of Christ. She loved her family very much and also enjoyed working in her flower garden and listening to gospel singing. She was the widow of Ervin Edens who preceded her in death on June 4, 1988. She was also preceded in death by one son, Darrell Wayne Edens on August 19, 1982, seven brothers, Clarence Faulkner, Garland Faulkner, Theron Faulkner, Gordon Faulkner, Alvin Faulkner, Hollis Faulkner and Johnny Baker and one sister, Virgie Woods. Survivors include: one son, Lanny Edens of Ball Creek, Arkansas; one daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Jerry Sample of Winslow, Arkansas; one daughter-in-law, Valerie Edens Terry of Fayetteville, Arkansas; six grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P. M. Tuesday, April 10, at the Ledbetter Cemetery with Brothers Jim Houchins and Ben Soto officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net of Huntsville, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be: Mike Sample, Jason Sample, Shane Sample, Justin Edens, Jason Edens and Jerry Sample. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P. M. to 7:00 P. M. on Monday at the funeral home.
