Pauline Alice Hatfield, 94, of Springdale; passed away Sunday, July 17, 2022, at Circle of Life Hospice, Springdale. She was born Saturday, May 12, 1928, at Hindsville; to Sherman Lee and Bessie Griffith McGinnis. Pauline married Howard Hatfield on Sunday, August 19, 1945, at Buhl, Idaho; and together they were parents to two sons. She was a beautician and owner of Pauline's Beauty Shop, in Springdale, for 50 years. In addition to fishing, Pauline enjoyed traveling in her spare time. Whenever they bought a new car, Pauline and Howard would take a long trip to break it in. She loved gambling in Las Vegas, one of her favorite destinations. Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Hatfield; her parents, Sherman and Bessie McGinnis; one brother, Lee McGinnis; and three sisters, Florene Hussey, Irene Thompson, and Bea Phillips. She is survived by her two sons, Garry and wife, Tammy, of Alpena; and Terry and wife, Cheryl, of Springdale; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 PM, Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory. Private interment will take place at Friendship Cemetery, Springdale. Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
