Paul Tyson, 83, of Elkins, died September 23, 2018 at his home. He was born on April 9, 1935, in Mountain Top, to Curtis and Dora Martin Tyson. He married Molly Joe Harvey in Bakersfield, Texas, on May 2, 1953; and was a farmer.He was predeceased by his parents; one daughter, Frankie Jean Sturdivant; two brothers, Jimmy Ray Tyson, and Johnny LeRoy Tyson. Paul is survived by his wife, Molly, of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Paula and Bob Pettus of Rogers, and Teena and Neal Florer of Fayetteville; three brothers, Curtis Tyson of Hamlin, Texas, Robert Tyson of Huntsville, and David Tyson of Fayetteville; two sisters, Mary Bowman of Hamlin, Texas, and Easter Shubert of Paris, Arkansas; six grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren.The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM, Tuesday, September 25, 2018, at Brashears Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, September 26, 2018, in the Bruce Brashears Memorial Chapel with Donnie Simpson officiating. Pallbearers will be Neal Florer, Bob Pettus, Nathan King, Nathaniel Florer, Brad Barryman, and Cade Leichner. Honorary pallbearers will be his brothers. Interment will immediately follow the service at Mt. Liberty Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
