Norris Eugene Lindley, 90, of Huntsville; passed away Monday, January 3, 2022, at his home. He was born Saturday, August 8, 1931, at Jonesboro; to the late Henry Elbert and Mary Lillian Calvert Lindley. Norris grew up in the Loredo community. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. Norris resided in Colorado, but lived in Huntsville for the last 15 years. He was a farmer, a truck driver, and of Baptist faith. He enjoyed his family and friends. Norris was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Alice Anna Jackson Lindley; his sister, Ruth Calvert, and three sons, Alvin Jackson, Larry Lindley, and Leon Jackson. He is survived by Crystal and Jack Scott of Huntsville; Diane Mathews of Jonesboro, Judy Mattarocchia of Salida, Colorado; Cecil Lindley of Jonesboro; Gary and Marie Jackson of Grand Junction, Colorado; Connie Jones of Jonesboro, Arlene Baker of Hindsville, Darlene and Kirk Westphal of West Fork; one sister, Martha Brown of Little Rock, and lot of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM, Monday, January 10, 2022, at Bohannan Mountain Cemetery with Max Bowlin officiating. Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
