Nat Jones

January 28, 1934 - December 11, 2021

Nathanal "Nat" Jones, 87, of Clifty; passed away Saturday, December 11, 2021, at Meadowview Healthcare and Rehab.  He was born Sunday, January 28, 1934, at Clifty; to Richard and Janie Lewis Jones. Nat married Patsy Rhiel on Sunday, June 7, 1959 at Eureka Springs.  He was a lifelong resident of Clifty and proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army.   Nat worked for Walters Printing Company in Eureka Springs, Edens and Jones Lumber Yard in Rogers; the Clifty Blueberry Farm; and was owner/operator of the Clifty General Store for five years.  He was a rancher and carpenter in his spare time. Nat was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, Allen Jones, Charles Jones, Norman Jones, Tommy Jones, and Jimmy Jones; and six sisters, Anna Berry, Nola Jones, Martha White, Helen Powell, Virgie Jones, and Louise Gosvener.   He is survived by his wife, Patsy; one sister Erma Roach of Fayetteville; one brother, Robert Jones of Cashmere Washington; and several nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors. The family will receive friends 5:00 PM-7:00 PM, Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at Brashears Funeral Home.  Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 16, 2021, at Brashears Funeral Home with Max Bowlin officiating.  Honorary pallbearers will be Jack Hudgins, Charlie Hudgins, Howard Harper, Donnie Jones, Buz Gosvener, Gene Murphey, Rodney Harper, Van Jones, Danny Jones, and Kevin Villines.  Private interment will be held at a later date at Clifty Cemetery.  Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
