Myrna Joyce Armstrong, 67, of Elkins, Arkansas, died June 13, 2014 at North Hills Lifecare and Rehab in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born October 13, 1946 at Alabam, Arkansas, the daughter of William Joseph and Edith Mae White Litterell. She had retired from Cargill's after thirty years of service and was a member of the Elkins Full Gospel Church. She was the widow of Robert William "Bill" Armstrong whom she married on May 8, 1964 and who preceded her in death on January 25, 2013. She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Jane Walker, Roberta Jo Litterell and Christine French. Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Robert Grey and Terri Armstrong of Springdale, Arkansas; one daughter and son-in-law, Norma Jean and Donnie Hughes of Elkins, Arkansas; two brothers, Troy Litterell of Sonora, Arkansas and Norman Litterell of Ephrata, Washington; two sisters, Dorothy Bryant of Wenatchee, Washington and Ina Litterell of Springdale, Arkansas; one grandson, Robbie Hughes of Elkins, Arkansas; two granddaughters and one grandson-in-law, Laci Armstrong of Springdale, Arkansas and Erin and Tom Cleveland of Elkins, Arkansas and one great-grandchild, Jaden of Springdale, Arkansas. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A. M. Wednesday, June 18, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with The Reverends Dean Jones and Ray Shackelford officiating. Interment will be in the Marshall Cemetery at Forum, Arkansas under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net of Huntsville, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be: Tim Litterell, Butch Kammerzell, Bill Keller, Jerry Cantrell, Billy Davis and Joe Head. Honorary pallbearers will be: Robbie Hughes and Tom Cleveland. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P. M. to 8:00 P. M. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
