Maxine Foster

May 19, 1927 - July 2, 2018

Maxine Spradling Foster, 91, of Marble, passed away July 2, 2018 at Huntsville.  Maxine was born May 19, 1927, at Purdy, to Jasper and Willie Grigg Spradling.  She retired from Meadowview after working many years as a certified nurse's assistant, and was a member of Big Sandy Community Church.Maxine was predeceased by her parents; one daughter, Linda Harrison; three brothers, H.C. Spradling, Rex Spradling, J.C. Spradling; and one sister, Ruth Holloway.  She is survived by her husband, Noel Foster, of Huntsville; two sons and daughters-in-law, Clyde and Connie Foster of Marble; Doug and Judy Foster of Marble; one brother and sister-in-law, Jasper and Pam Spradling of Kingston; six grandchildren, Alex Foster, Brad Foster, Justin Foster, Craig Foster, Chad Foster, and Trent Harrison; eighteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, July 6, 2018, in the Bruce Brashears Memorial Chapel of Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory.  Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 7, 2018 with Dwain Houston and Alex Foster officiating.  Interment will immediately follow at Big Sandy Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Alex Foster, Brad Foster, Justin Foster, Craig Foster, Chad Foster, Trent Harrison, Harold Dean Howell, and Hayden Ferguson.  Honorary pallbearers will be Wymbert Grigg and Jasper Spradling.  Services are in care of Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
