MILLARD ACUFF

January 30, 1938 - March 14, 2020

Millard W. Acuff, 82, of Hindsville; died Saturday, March 14, 2020, at home.  He was born Sunday, January 30, 1938, at Harrison; to John and Edna Harvison Acuff. Millard married Lovella Collins in Springdale on September 5, 1959; together they were parents to two sons.  He was a refrigeration technician for Cargill, who also loved to fish and read. Millard was predeceased by his parents and one brother, Dewey L. Acuff.  He is survived by his wife, Lovella Acuff of the home; two sons, Dewey W. Acuff of Hindsville and Larry Acuff of Hindsville; one brother, Howard Acuff of Hindsville; one sister, Ruth Kilpatrick of Springdale; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 PM, Thursday, March 19, 2020 at Brashears Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM; Friday, March 20, at Brashears Funeral Home with Loren Collins officiating.  Pallbearers will be Donny Acuff, Jon Acuff, Richard Watson, Cory McCoy, Mike Collins, Bradley Collins, Brian McLaughlin, and Daniel Kauffele.  Honorary pallbearers will be Amelia Jones, Thomas Acuff, Ronnie McLaughlin, Adam Acuff, and Howard Acuff.  Interment will immediately follow services at Friendship Cemetery, Springdale.  Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
