Lois Jean Dennis

October 23, 1928 - March 18, 2015

Lois Jean Dennis, 86, of Aurora, Arkansas died March 18, 2015 at the Willard Walker Hospice Home at Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born October 23, 1928 at Yakima, Washington the daughter of Victor Bruce and Opal Margaret Hollett Randolph. She was a retired special education para educator with the Howard County Public School System in Maryland. Her hobbies included family, reading and dancing. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-three years, James Coyt Dennis on February 18, 1999 and by one son-in-law, David Upshaw. Survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Eugene Victor and Karen Dennis of Witter, Arkansas and James Coyt and Desiree Dennis, Jr. of Savage, Maryland; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Margaret Elaine Duggan of Elkridge, Maryland, Norma Sue and Joe Shoemaker of Sharpsburg, Georgia, Janet Lynn Upshaw of Aurora, Arkansas and Lisa Eileen and Bruce Sevison of Hanover, Maryland; one brother, Joe Randolph of Elkins, Arkansas; ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P. M. Saturday, March 21 in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with Reverend Jim Hepler officiating. Interment will be in the Huntsville Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net at Huntsville. Pallbearers will be: Rene Albarran, Jerry Hayes, Mike Dennis, Patrick Duggan, Jr. and Randy Monroe, Jr.
