Leonard Wayne Harper, Sr., 94, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, died August 30, 2015 at his home. He was born May 7, 1921 at Clifty, Arkansas, the son of Carl E. and Eulah Nina Tallant Harper. He was a retired carpenter and a veteran of World War Two, serving in the United States Army Air Corps. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Denise Jill Ryan. Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Leonard Wayne Harper, Jr. and Julia Harper of Elkins, Arkansas; one daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Chuck Dassau of Venice, Florida; two granddaughters, Nina Lea Brisco of Springdale, Arkansas and Jennifer Mae Harper of Conway, Arkansas; two great-granddaughters, Maighan Griger of Rogers, Arkansas and Raicheal Harper of Conway, Arkansas; one great-great-grandson, Hunter Griger of Rogers, Arkansas and one great-great-granddaughter, Holly Griger of Rogers, Arkansas. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A. M. Thursday, September 3, at the Clifty Cemetery with The Reverend Gary Faulkner officiating.
