Keith Jones

Keith Austin Jones, 71, of West Fork; died Friday, January 1, 2021, at Washington Regional Medical Center, Fayetteville. He was born Sunday, November 20, 1949, at Abiline, Texas; to Sebe Harlin and Gladys Hamontree Jones. Keith married Dedara Acuff on Thursday, August 4, 2005; at Eureka Springs; and was father to six children. He worked for Farmer's Livestock Auction. Keith was an outdoorsman who loved horseback riding and telling great stories. He had a strong exterior, but was soft-hearted and dearly loved his family. Keith was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Sue Lynch. He is survived by his wife, Dedara of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Erica Jones of Huntsville; and Anthony and Meranda Jones of West Fork; four daughters and one son-in-law, Jennifer and Steve DuVall of Huntsville; Latisha Jones of West Fork; and Katherine Jones and Teresa Jones, both of Mulberry; and 14 grandsons. Demarco, Jack, Michael Jones, Jr., Ty, Ashton, Bryce, JD, Mark, Sebe, Charlie, Logan, Slater, Jayden, and Darren. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, January 8, 2021, at Hickory Grove Cemetery, Clifty; with Jerry Henshaw officiating. Pallbearers will be Willie Blackston, James Henderson, Jeff Reeves, Bryce Martin, Jimmy Martin, and Michael Jones, Jr.  Honorary pallbearers will be Ashton Jones, Ty Jones, Austin Martin, Charlie Jones, Mark Martin, Slater Drake, Jack Wagnon. Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
