Jo Hooper, 88, of Huntsville, Arkansas died October 28, 2017 at her home. She was born on September 19, 1929 at Huntsville, Arkansas the daughter of Donna Irene Simpson. She was retired from the Arkansas Department of Human Services and the Madison County Senior Activity Center. She was a former member of the Board of Huntsville Cemetery and a Christian. She was preceded in death by one son, Charles Alvin Hooper and two sisters, Betty and Mary Elizabeth.Survivors include: two sons and one daughter-in-law, David Hooper of Huntsville, Arkansas and Chris and Julie Hooper of Fayetteville, Arkansas; two daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Sherman Phillips of Springdale, Arkansas and Lynn and James Gibson of Fayetteville, Arkansas; one sister and brother-in-law, Freddie and Charlie Fowler of Fayetteville, Arkansas; fourteen grandchildren,  Mike (Brandy) Phillips, Jeremy (Tara) Phillips, Andy (Samantha) Hooper, Jody (Kristen) Phillips, James David Hooper, Matthew (Jamie) Hooper, Kristin (Geoffrey) Bates, Andy Hooper, Sabrina Hooper, Haylee (Jason) Guthrie, Tyler Hooper, Jamie (Brandon) Stein, Holly (Jeff) Walker and Dustin (Allyson) Gibson; thirty-three great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.Private graveside services will be held at the Huntsville Cemetery with Reverend Alex Foster officiating under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsafuneralhome.net at Huntsville.
