Jack Aldon Cook, 68, of Huntsville, Arkansas, died March 8, 2011 at the Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Arkansas. He was born December 16, 1942 at Prairie Grove, Arkansas, the son of Elmer Alden and Melba Marie Sparks Cook. He was a truck driver, a United States Army veteran, a Baptist attending the Living Water Baptist Church and a member of Hayes-Smith Post #137, American Legion at Huntsville. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Verna Lee Owens Cook, two sons, David Cook, Sr. and Jerry Dale Cook and one brother, Jerry E. Cook. Survivors include: his wife, Eugenia Nothdurft Cook of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Philip and Tracy Todd of Sedelia, Missouri and James and Laurie Todd of Huntsville, Arkansas; one daughter and son-in-law, Dawn and Donald Mittelstedt of Huntsville, Arkansas; one sister, Jean Whisenant of Huntsville, Arkansas; one sister-in-law, Kay Cook of Huntsville, Arkansas; twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A. M. Saturday, March 12, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with The Reverends Gary Faulkner and Butch Bolinger officiating. Interment will be in the Witter Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net of Huntsville, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be: Donald Mittelstedt, Wendel Nothdurft, Billy Owens, Jerry Lynn Cook, Jackie Owens and Joseph Cook. Honorary pallbearers will be: Jared Owens, Robert Johnson, James Todd and Philip Todd. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P. M. to 7:00 P. M. on Friday at the funeral home.
