Henry "Bud" White, 89, of Hindsville, Arkansas, died October 7, 2014 at his home. He was born May 18, 1925 at Monroe, Louisiana, the son of Jim and Bessie Frazier White. He was a mechanic, farmer and a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the United States Army. He was preceded in death by one stepson, Billy Carr, his parents, seven brothers, one sister and two great-grandsons, Mason Martin and Connor Martin. Survivors include: his wife of forty years, Evelyn Henderson White of the home; his grandson, Brandon Thompson of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Denise White of Tijeras, New Mexico; one daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Tim Thompson of Hindsville, Arkansas; two stepdaughters and one stepson-in-law, Tracey and Bill Taylor of Wesley, Arkansas and Beth Carr of Hazel Valley, Arkansas; one brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Judy White of Junction City, Kansas; eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P. M. Friday, October 10, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with Chaplain John Pate officiating. Interment will be in the Bohannan Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net of Huntsville, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be: Brandon Thompson, Brian Carr, William Carr, Tim Taylor, Shiloh Carr and James Worley. Honorary pallbearers will be Bryce Henry McNelly, Zack Taylor, Caleb Taylor, Janessa McNelly, Rilee J. Carr, Taylor Carr, Ethan Wilson and Emilee Wilson. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P. M. to 8:00 P. M. on Thursday at the funeral home.
