Grady Harris

April 11, 1939 - July 22, 2012

Grady Harris, 73, of Huntsville, Arkansas, died July 22, 2012 at Northwest Medical Center-Springdale. He was born April 11, 1939 at Pelsor, Arkansas, the son of Floyd and Lilly Sheperd Harris. He was a truck driver, law enforcement officer and a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his wife, Delouris June "Lois" Ingram Harris on April 11, 2008. He was also preceded in death by one son, Michael Wayne Harris, his parents and two brothers, O. D. Harris and Wintson Harris. He loved to fish, hunt, camp and never could turn down a chance to tell a good story or two. Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Justin and Tina Harris of Huntsville, Arkansas; one daughter, Cristi Harris of Green Forest, Arkansas; six brothers, Phil Harris, Larry Harris, Allen Harris and Bobby Harris, all of Oklahoma, Darrel Harris and Frank Harris, both of Texas; four sisters, Winnie Stilwell and Esther Hopkins, both of Oklahoma, Fran Chambless of Texas and Jeanie Melton of Arizona; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P. M. Thursday, July 26, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with Pastor Dennis Brannan officiating. Interment will be in the Marshall Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net of Huntsville, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be: Don Smith, Darrell Smith, Clint Ham, Brandon Walker, Steve Curl and Ralph Perez. Honorary pallbearer will be Benny Smith.
