Evelyn White

Evelyn White, 86, of Hindsville; died Sunday, February 14, 2021, at Edgewood Health and Rehab, Springdale.  She was born Sunday, April 22, 1934, at Bixby; to Finis Jefferson and Nora Myrtle Ramsey Henderson.Evelyn married Henry "Bud" White on Wednesday, September 18, 1974 at Huntsville; and was mother to six children.  She was a member of Vaughn Presbyterian Church and a graduate of Bentonville High School.  Evelyn worked for many years for Tyson Foods in Springdale, and was a homemaker and farmer.  Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, "Bud", her parents, and three children, Billy Carr, Joe Carr, and Beth Carr.  She is survived by her one son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Denise White of Hindsville; and two daughters and sons-in-law, Melissa and Tim Thompson of Hindsville; and Tracey and Bill Taylor of Wesley; 13 grandchildren, and 26 great-grandchildren.The family will receive friends 9:00 AM, Saturday, February 20, 2021, at Brashears Funeral Home.  Due to COVID-19, please practice social distancing and masks are required. Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM, with Gary Martin officiating.  Pallbearers will be Jimmy White, Tim Thompson, Brandon Thompson, Brian Carr, Tim Taylor, and Caleb Taylor.  Honorary pallbearers will be Janessa McNelly, Bryce McNelly, William Carr, James White, and Shiloh Carr.  Interment will immediately follow services at Bohannan Mountain Cemetery, Huntsville.  Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
