Ernest Leon Benedict, 62, of Huntsville; died Sunday, January 26, 2020, at Springdale. He was born Saturday, December 7, 1957, at Independence, Missouri; to Norval Hugh and Doris Bonner Benedict. Ernest was employed as an electronics manufacturing production worker for Ducommun LaBarge Technologies. He married Debbie Lynn Rowlins in Huntsville, on September 24, 1983; and was father to one son. His interests included astronomy and NASA; and he enjoyed farming. Ernest was predeceased by his parents; and one brother, Norval Clint Benedict. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Benedict of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Jess-Ella Benedict of Huntsville; three brothers, James Benedict of Tulsa, Oklahoma; David Benedict of Huntsville; and Paul Benedict of Springdale; one sister, Jean Marie Cruz of Springdale; and three grandchildren, Bailley Benedict, Jason Benedict, and Logan Benedict. No services are planned at this time. Cremation is entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
