Edmund Gerald Ford, 66, of Combs, Arkansas, died December 23, 2013 at his home. He was born December 24, 1946 at Russellville, Arkansas, the son of Jerome and Erma Nell Gardner Ford. He had been a plumber for over forty years and had served for six years in the United States Army Reserve. He was a member of the Huntsville Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include: his wife, Brenda McDaniel Ford of the home; one son, Gerald Wayne Ford of Rogers, Arkansas; two daughters and one son-in-law, Terresa Kaye and Brett Brown of Amarillo, Texas and Delores Renee Ford of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, CL and Wanda Ford and Gary Ford, all of Dover, Arkansas and Billy and Carolyn Ford of Clinton, Arkansas; one sister and brother-in-law, Glenda and J. R. Bailey of Dover, Arkansas; fourteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A. M. Saturday, December 28, at the Huntsville Missionary Baptist Church with The Reverend Bud Pulley officiating. Interment will be in the Patrick Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net of Huntsville, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be: Gerald Ford, Brett Brown, Chris Higgs, Tracy Bailey, Paul Ferguson and Albert Brintan. Honorary pallbearers will be: Kristopher Acker and David Stark. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P. M. to 7:00 P. M. on Friday at the funeral home.
