Carroll Ray Thurlow

Carroll Ray Thurlow, 81, of Kingston, Arkansas, died November 19, 2012 at the Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born August 16, 1931 at Raymond, Maine, the son of Arthur and Berniece Ray Thurlow. He was a retired baking foreman for the Keebler Company and a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the United States Air Force. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert Thurlow, Arthur Thurlow, Jr. and Walter Thurlow. Survivors include: his wife, Bertha Ficht Blackston Thurlow of the home whom he married on April 17, 1970; one son, Jimmy Thurlow of Aurora, Colorado; two daughters, Claire (Tom) Hanslin of Aurora, Colorado and Carol Ann Thurlow of Kingston, Arkansas; two stepsons, David (Patty) Blackston of Plattville, Colorado and Leroy (Linda) Blackston of Kingsburg, Colorado; two stepdaughters, Reba (Joe) Bono of Hudson, Colorado and Regina (Rich) Johnson of Dayton, Washington; one brother, Luke Thurlow of Raymond, Maine; two sisters, Betty Pierce of Raymond, Maine and Janice Ash of Gray, Maine; seventeen grandchildren and thirty-seven great-grandchildren. Private graveside services will be held at the Thurlow Cemetery in Raymond, Maine.
