Carroll Gene Fultz, 74, of Gentry, Arkansas died March 6, 2012 at his home. He was born August 23, 1937 at Conner, Arkansas the son of Ralph and Cora Waldrop Fultz. He had worked in the maintenance department for the Huntsville School District and in maintenance in the agricultural industry. He was active in the Madison County Civil Service as a storm watcher amateur radio operator and an avid handyman often working to better people's lives at the Huntsville Senior Center. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Larry Leon Fancher and grandparents, Crump Fancher and Nora Conner Ushrey. Survivors include: his wife of fifty years, Barbara Deatherage Fultz of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Kim Fultz of Gentry, Arkansas and John and Tamara Fultz of Perryville, Arkansas; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Laura Foster and Karen and Charles Buth all of Bentonville, Arkansas and Betty and Shane Gregory of Branson, Missouri; two brothers and one sister-in-law, James Fultz of Ozark, Missouri and Carson and Rachel Fultz of Bella Vista, Arkansas; four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Mary and Max Varney of Watsonville, California, Pat and Charley Cunha of Fresno, California, Margaret and Mark Zemak of Kirkland, Washington and Gayle Folliard of Salinas, California; eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P. M. Friday, March 9 at the Gobbler Cemetery with Reverend Dean Smith officiating under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net at Huntsville.
