Carol Thomas

March 11, 1942 - August 25, 2021

Carol Lee Thomas, 79, of Huntsville; gained her heavenly angel wings, Wednesday, August 25, 2021, comfortably at the Circle of Life, Springdale. She was born March 11, 1942, in Brewster, Washington; to Vernon and Violet Rosendahl Waddell.Carol married Carl Wayne Thomas on October 8, 1958 in Pateros, Washington; and together they were parents to three children.  She was a former bus driver for the Huntsville School District for 25 years.  Carol was preceded in death by one son, Charles "Charlie" Thomas; her husband, Wayne Thomas; and her parents.  She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Carl and Leah Thomas of Huntsville; Cary and Teresa Thomas of Fort Smith;  two brothers and sisters-in-law, Dick and Nancy Waddell, and Bill and Jean Waddell, all of Pateros, Washington; five grandchildren and their spouses, Jimmy and Magnolia Thomas, Jeremy and Lauren Thomas, Dustin Thomas, Jessica and Toby Hignite, and Lyndie and John McCoy and twelve great-grandchildren.Visitation will be 9:00 AM, Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at Brashears Funeral Home.  Funeral Services will begin at 10:00 AM, with Glen Thomas officiating.  Due to COVID-19, please practice social distancing and masks are required.  Pallbearers will be Phillip Thomas, Jerrad Thomas, David Canion, Cody Bankston, Donny Rodebush, and Josh London.  Interment will immediately follow services at Aurora Cemetery.  Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
