Anthony Joseph Barro, Jr., 75, of Huntsville, Arkansas, died April 25, 2011 at Witter, Arkansas. He was born May 28, 1935 at Brooklyn, New York, the son of Anthony Joseph and Grace D'Amico Barro. He was an automobile mechanic, a Catholic and a veteran of the Korean War serving in the United States Air Force. He was also a veteran of the Army National Guard and the U. S. Navy Reserve. Survivors include: four sons, Anthony Barro, III of Los Banos, California, Michael Barro of Huntsville, Arkansas, Richard Barro of Searcy, Arkansas and Chris Barro of Rogers, Arkansas; three daughters, Grace Barrott of Reno, Nevada, Juanita Mave of Elizabethton, Tennessee and Melissa Smith of Overland Park, Kansas; one brother, Mike Barro of Northport, Florida; one sister, Mary Ramirez of Brooklyn, New York and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P. M. Tuesday, May 3, at the Fayetteville National Cemetery with The Reverend Leslie Elam officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net of Huntsville, Arkansas. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Good Sam's Club.
