Norma Jean White Barker, 81, of Huntsville, Arkansas, died February 28, 2013 at the Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born December 14, 1931 at Loy, Arkansas, the daughter of Maynard and Madge Cook Thomas. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Truth in Springdale, Arkansas. She was the widow of Ira White and Clifford Barker and was also preceded in death by one daughter, Norma Kay White Coon and one granddaughter, Jamie White.
Survivors include: three sons and daughters-in-law, Charles "C. E." and Anna McGinnis of Goshen, Arkansas, Lanny and Janet McGinnis of Alma, Arkansas and Jeff and Carol White of Springdale, Arkansas; one daughter, Portia White Foster of Richmond, Kentucky; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A. M. Monday, March 4, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with Edward McGinnis, Eulogist and The Reverend Wesley McGinnis officiating. Interment will be in the Upper Campground Cemetery at Kingston, Arkansas under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net of Huntsville, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be: William Earl Foster, Lanny Heath McGinnis, Dean McGinnis, David Morgan, Justin Stover, Byron Moody, Jeff Vaughan and Nick Johnson. The family will receive friends from 2:00 P. M. to 4:00 P. M. on Sunday at the funeral home.
